A little about me.....
I began dancing at the age of 11 after the words of a particularly persuasive teacher suggested that I showed potential in the art, and should consider looking into it with more vigor. I quickly became hooked!
I trained originally in Hip Hop, and then added more classical styles such as Ballet, Jazz and African.
Musical theatre training was quickly added to the regime which continued until well after high school.
After graduating, I moved on to attend The Young Canadians School of Performing Arts, where I trained for the next 18 months.
Meanwhile, at the age of 17, I began to dip my (pointed) toe into the world of choreography, competition, and instructing, and knew instantly that this was the goal. I continued my training with various teachers throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and California while learning to develop my own teaching style.
Partnered styles were inevitable in my quest for more dance knowledge, and once that information was added to my internal library, I quickly developed a passion for the styles, and the social growth that came hand in hand with them. Nothing like a good Rumba to make your skin sing!
I am now an accomplished choreographer, with ever growing ambition, dedication, and passion for the arts.
